A rose by any other name would still be grown in South America using pesticides banned in most of the world by people working for starvation wages, then flown to the U. S., leaving behind a carbon footprint bigger than Sasquatch’s. I am down to one per year and have to make it last . . .
Great picture! I don’t think people realize a picture like this isn’t as easy as it looks. The depth of field is only a few inches. The lighting is very good, which you obviously thought carefully about to get this result.
I was rather pleased how this came out. There is a short time period in the morning when the sunlight is just right and it seems almost a crime to waste it.
