Was this after a wind storm? Vandals? Now that I know for sure its a flag, I’m more curious. What’s the story behind the picture?

No real story, I’m afraid. This was a small corner of the cemetery with members of the same family buried together. At one point or another, someone put up the flag, along with some plastic flowers and such. Must have been the anniversary of a death or something. Anyway, probably the wind knocked over the flag, and it had lain on the ground long enough to fade to nothing. I bet it is still laying there.
